Please contact Tina Parrish to purchase your ticket. 646-442-1850.

One of  the most exciting products to debut at this years annual IPCPR trade show was the La Flor Dominicana Casa de Tabaco.  La Flor Dominicana owner Litto Gomez has always been tremendously innovative, both in blending and in packaging.  From his "Chisel" shaped cigars, to "Factory Press" boxes, he undoubtedly excels in creativity, and his quality and consistency in his cigars themselves is superb. His newest creation, the Casa de Tabaco, is no exception.

The cigar is the newest addition to his already successful "Air Bender" line.  This one however- is the first ever Maduro version.  At 6 1/2" x 54, this hefty toro features the same fundamental blend as the standard Air Bender featuring Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos, however it's finished with a Brazilian Habano Maduro wrapper.

The box is a replica of the traditional curing barns used to hang and dry tobacco after harvest.  Each Casa contains 24 of these special cigars.  The box also has a slot for a "Humidipak" to humidify the interior, as well as a small accessories drawer to keep a cutter or lighter... or stash some cash for your "cigar fund".  These boxes should retail for about $360 PLUS applicable taxes.

The Nat Sherman Townhouse is the company's flagship store located at 12 East 42nd Street, just off Fifth Avenue in New York City.  http://www.natsherman.com/

Authentically Nat Sherman...

In the 1950's Nat Sherman was the exclusive distributor for the Cuban Bolivar Brand throughout the United States... Well, as it turns out... we didn't sell all of them.  Take a look at this glimpse back in time:

an excerpt from our history (full history can be found here)

The 1950's...

A boom time for the United States and for Nat Sherman too. The company started expanding its lines of cigars and cigarettes. The now famous Fantasia cigarette featuring colored paper wrappers and filled with an American blend rather than Cuban tobacco was introduced during the 1950's. The Cigaretello started selling exceedingly well after several Hollywood actors started smoking them (Nat Sherman had changed the blend to a much more palatable mixture). On the retail side, cigars were still sought after by many, and the retail location continued to attract people from all facets of life looking for a great smoke. And, since the company was one of only three authorized distributors of Cuban cigars East of the Mississippi and the exclusive distributor of the Bolivar brand in the entire country, customers were guaranteed to find a cigar they liked. In fact, Nat Sherman's humidors still hold hundreds of Cuban cigars rolled during this decade, representing one of the largest caches of these exquisite specimens in the world.
