The Sherman Family mourns the tragic loss of beloved matriarch, Myrna Sherman, 73, who passed on December 11th. Mrs. Sherman was a cherished wife and life-partner to her adoring husband of 54 years, Joel Sherman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nat Sherman International; mother to Michele, Bill and Larry; mother-in-law to Barry, Marla and Maureen; and grandmother to Alex, Emily, Madeline, Wylie, Cole, Emma, Annie and Bridget. She was an inspiration, not only to her family but to everyone who knew her, and was actively involved in a number of charitable and community organizations, especially The Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s. Myrna will forever be remembered for her passion for life, her love of family and for her extraordinary spirit. Memorial services will take place at 1:15PM on Sunday, December 15, 2013 Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 West 76th Street, New York, NY 10023. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research or to Dr. Susan B. Bressman, M.D., Chairman, Parkinson’s Research Department at Beth Israel Medical Center, 10 Union Square East, Suite 2Q, New York, N.Y. 10003
